Easter is Egg-citing in Akron this year.  There are so many fun and usually FREE Easter events in Akron. This is a listing of some great Easter Egg Hunts, special Easter Worship services, Easter Dramas, Easter Concerts, places to find the Easter Bunny, and places for Easter Day dinner.  I hope you can find at least one Easter activity in Akron to share with your family this season.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Friends at Belden Village Mall

The Easter Bunny and his furry friends will be here for breakfast on Saturday, 03.27.10 at 9am in the Food Court.
Tickets are only $4 and are available at the Concierge next to the Food Court doors.
Breakfast is provided by Chick-fil-A (Chicken Minis, Hash Browns, and a Drink).
Prizes, goodies and giveaways will be available for everyone. Gary Rivers from My 101.7 FM Morning Show will be on site with fun for all.

Visit the Easter Bunny at Belden Village Mall

With spring just around the corner, the Easter Bunny will soon be arriving at Westfield Belden Village.
Starting Saturday, March 13th through Saturday, April 4th, you can visit and have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny in Easterland, right in front of Macy’s in our Center Court.
Bunny Hours:
Monday – Saturday: 10am – 9pm
Sunday: 11am – 6pm
(The Easter Bunny does take breaks during the day to enjoy some delicious carrots).
Photo package information is available at Easterland or the Concierge.

Tetélestai Passion Paly

Tetélestai is the musical portrayal of the trial, execution & resurrection of Jesus the Messiah. With over 100 cast and crew, full costumes, staging and theatrical equipment, this prayerfully presented musical is a memorable way to prepare for the Easter season. The production is interdenominational & free of charge (free-will offerings accepted). Friday & Saturday shows begin at 8:00 pm; Sunday shows at 3:00 pm unless otherwise noted.  Doors open 1 hour before performance time.

Easter Bunny Express

You’ll never believe what the Easter Groundhog has been up to in the past few months and there is only one way to find out. Join CVSR and CVNP for our annual Easter Egg Extravaganza. Enjoy a puppet show, crafts and an Easter Egg hunt.

You will travel to Peninsula where a bus will be waiting to take you to Happy Days Lodge. After the activities, the bus will then take you back to Peninsula for a 2:05 p.m. departure. You will return to Akron Northside Station by 2:50 p.m.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the Akron Zoo

Bring the kids and grandkids to the zoo and enjoy a egg hunt and Breakfast with the Bunny.

Guests can also take pictures with the bunny and every kid in the egg hunt will get a goodie bag. Find the special golden egg and win some cool prizes!
