Boo at the Akron Zoo will take place October 16-18, 23-25 and 30-31. During the weekdays, Boo at the Akron Zoo will run from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays, the event will take place from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. In honor of the zoo’s 20th anniversary of Boo, the zoo will add a new treat station and, for the first time ever, host Boo at the Zoo birthday parties!

Time of Event: 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Everyone’s favorite safe, non-scary event is back again! Dress your little ghosts and goblins in their Halloween costumes and head to the Akron Zoo to trick-or-treat at 12 different themed stations.  Treat bags provided must be used while trick-or-treating.

Also enjoy:

  • Over 700 animals from around the world
  • The zoo decorated in non-scary decorations and lights
  • Enjoy dinner at Komodo Kingdom Cafe while taking a break from the hard work of collecting candy and goodies!
  • Train rides
  • Don’t forget to grab your favorite lighted toys from the gift shop to help guide you through the paths.

Observers – $6.00

Akron Zoo member observers are FREE. Save $1 per ticket on admission and buy your tickets the day before you will be coming to Boo at the Zoo!
