I am beyond excited to be 1 of 4 finalist for the Pillsbury My Crescent Wow Brand Ambassador Contest.  I have 2 family favorite recipes that I would love for you to try. The Perfect Potato Pockets recipe is an easy-to-make crowd pleaser that incorporates yummy, All-American flavors of a twice-baked potato wrapped up in a crescent. How I became a Pillsbury My Crescent Wow Finalist

This all started early this Summer when I filled out a lengthy application about why I love Pillsbury Crescents, about my family, cooking habits, etc. There were 3600 other people that entered to become the brand ambassador. I was selected to be in the Top 100 within 2 weeks!

I was thrilled and a bit nervous when I had the phone interview. I talked about how I create recipes with crescent rolls at home and how they are always a big hit. Seriously, you can never go wrong when you serve a dish made with Pillsbury Crescent Rolls!

I had to submit 2 of my families favorite recipes that use Pillsbury crescents. I have so many dishes that I make, it was hard to select just 2. It was even harder to write the recipe down from my memory and into a 30 minutes or less time frame!  I ran out to Giant Eagle, purchased all the ingredients for about 6 of my favorite recipes, including 12 cans of crescents! You should have seen my kitchen that night! What a mess! lol

I was notified several weeks later that I was in the Top 12! I could not believe it! Now, they wanted me to adjust a couple parts of the recipes, make them take less time to prepare, etc. So, I ran back to Giant Eagle, bought another 8 cans of crescents and re-worked my recipes to make them faster, easier to prepare, and simply delicious! Again, my kitchen was a mess! My husband and kids were taste-testing all of the recipes variations, they were great!

I got a call in July with the fun and exciting news that I am a Pillsbury Crescent Brand Top 4 Finalist!! I was very, very excited but was not allowed to tell anyone until today, Sept 1st, the official start of the contest. Now, it is up to me to get the word out to everyone, nationwide about my recipe and ask for the vote.
