Akron Zoo 4 Tickets Giveaway (Closed)

The Akron Zoo is one of the best zoos for families. They cater to families with kids and their latest addition fits right in line. The new Akron Zoo Conservation Carousel is now open.  It is a breathtaking with 33 locally hand-carved wooden animals to ride. Some animals are copies of those that live right in the zoo including the Komodo dragon, tiger, and penguin. What is really neat is that they have images on the wall of where the animals you are riding live in the wild. Very cool! The price is just $2 for each 2-1/2 minute ride.

The Akron Zoo boasts the phrase “You’ve never been this close” and one trip to the Akron Zoo and you will see why. You get a very up close view of all of the animals, no matter what season it is. The Akron Zoo offers great programs and events year round. Our favorite is Animal Enrichment Day. They give the animals toys and activities to do, it’s exciting to see a Lion attack a new toy!

They have great educational programs for kids of all ages and families throughout the year. These are quality, affordable programs and events that not only teach about animals but provide fun, memorable times with your family.
