I am always on the look out for unique, hip, clothing for my girls. I like to find kids outfits that aren’t what everyone else is wearing and that are still somewhat mindful of the pocket book. Recently, I found the on-line catalog of Tea Collection, and quickly fell in love with their funky prints and globally-inspired clothing lines.
Tea Collection’s Summer 2011 Clothing Line
All is takes is one quick look at their catalog, and you can tell it’s not the run-of-the-mill, find-in-every-storefront type of clothing. How could it be, with a unique philosophy like that of Tea Collection? Each season, Tea Collection visits a new destination in the world, and bases their clothing patterns and styles on that trip. Pretty cool, huh?!
This summer, the collection is based on their visit to Catalonia. Rich hues, fun florals, and patterns that reminiscent of Spanish tiles can be found throughout the clothing line.
These great outfits are cute enough to wear to a special event, and yet comfortable enough, in 100% cotton and cotton blends, to play in. I’ve had a hard time getting Lila to wear anything else since our Tea Collection clothing arrived. Her favorite is the Nouveau Leaf Smock Dress that she’s wearing in the photos – blousy on top, and full of fashion with an elastic border at the waist that gives it a unique look.
What’s Available at Tea Collection?
Tea Collection’s line of clothing is for babies on up to size 12! My Alyssa was thrilled to see that Tea Collection had great items for older girls too. They also carry a complete line of boys’ clothing, just as uniquely and smartly designed as the girls’. And, in 2010, they began carrying women’s clothing as well – “Chic, flattering, globally-inspired styles to live and love in.” Quite honestly, I love it all!
Aside from the modern, worldly style, I also really appreciate the quality of the garments. Ours have been washed many times already, and they come out of the dryer beautifully, and still look brand new. Take a look at the stunning embroidery on the Mila skirt Alyssa is wearing below:
You may be wondering what the price range is on this clothing? As I write this on July 10, 2011, all the items we reviewed are on sale, and range in price from $14.50 for the Surfista t-shirt, to $29.50 for the Pointella Bolero Sweater and Mila Embroidered Skirt. Not bad! And, as a nice bonus, shipping is free when you spend $150.00, or just a flat $7.00 on orders below that. I love a company that doesn’t overcharge on shipping!
Where To Buy Tea Collection Clothing
Tea Collection clothing is sold on their flagship website, in high-end retail stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, and other boutique stores throughout the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
