What is the first thing you and your guest see upon arriving at your home? If it is a first-time visitor, there is no question – it is your mailbox with your house number. Truth be told, an old, dated mailbox can ruin your home’s first impression and your beautiful front yard. An easy curbside renovation is as easy as updating with a beautiful mailbox that reflects you and your home’s style. I was ecstatic to have the opportunity to receive and review 2 multi-home mailboxes in exchange for this post.
Improve Curbside Appeal with a Decorative Architectural Mailbox
Architectural Mailboxes are stunning. They are not like the plastic ones you’ll find at your local home improvement stores. You can choose from a variety of styles, colors, post styles, and sizes. Architectural Mailboxes are decorate and expressive. They are the perfect way to quickly enhance the exterior of any home.
We share a mailbox post with our neighbor across the street. It is located in the center of our yard-space, on a sometimes very busy road. It is not a safe location to be walking to and standing to get the mail – especially for our 80 year old neighbors. Our first item of business was to move the mailboxes to a safer location, next to our drive way.
When I talked to our neighbors about updating our mailboxes, I wasn’t sure the response I would get. Sometimes older people are stuck in their ways. They were thrilled to update our mailbox situation since our mailboxes didn’t match and our neighbor’s had a door that needed repaired…again!
There are many multi-home mailboxes to choose from, we choose the Bellevue Mailbox, which is also available for single home installation, up to 4 across for multi-home mailboxes. We chose it for it’s distinctive, classic style. It is available in several color combinations including black, bronze, and white with platinum, white bronze, and bronze accents. We chose bronze with platinum accents. We chose You can also choose the post of your choice from basic to decorative. We chose the decorative post.
Our first reaction when receiving our mailbox was the quality. Immediately we could tell that the mailboxes are made of high quality materials and the construction is sturdy. My 80 year old neighbor was very, very impressed by the quality and how sturdy the mailboxes are. Architectural Mailboxes are made up solid cast aluminum and powder coated in the color of your choice. It is the most sturdy mailbox I’ve owned. Our neighbor loved the solid cast aluminum, he found it very alluring and nothing like the mailboxes he has owned in his whole life!
Installing the mailboxes was easy with the included configurations. Everything matched up as indicated in the instructions and went together very quickly. This truly is an easy way to improve curbside appeal!
Our mailboxes are secured with side support brackets that are built to last. They are solid, thick, and secure so you can rest assured that they will support your mailbox. I love how spacious the mailboxes are inside. As a blogger, I receive many packages in the mail. Our previous mailbox was large and quite ugly but the only option we found besides the traditional size mailbox. The majority of Architectural Mailboxes are spaciously sized to accommodate smaller packages.
The door closes securely with the ball-bearing hardware, so you don’t need to worry about it flopping open.
I can’t believe how gorgeous our mailboxes are now. I smile every time I pull into my driveway now with the gleaming, decorative mailboxes greeting me. It is a very quick way to improve curbside appeal with very little effort. It is the little finishing touches on a home that makes it stand-out. Don’t they look amazing?!
