Clay’s Park Resort Also Offers Rental Options
Clay’s Park Resort also offers new trends in camping such as Cabin Rentals and Glamping. I find that both of these options are perfect for families without many camping essentials, those who do not have the room to store their own equipment, or simply anyone just looking for a fast an easy get away to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. For both, fire rings, picnic tables and beds are provided with each site. Campers must bring their own bed linens, towels and toiletries, and equipment for cooking.
Four Beautiful Cabins Available for Rent at Clay’s Park Resort
Perhaps it is just a log cabin fantasy I’ve had since childhood, but I would love to stay in one Clay’s Park Resort’s little yet spacious log cabins. They are perfectly located near the restroom facilities and a playground area. Sit out on the porch swing and enjoy an evening under the stars as lightning bugs twinkle along the woods. Charcoal grills are also provided making packing up the car for a weekend get away simple. Bring your own charcoal or purchase some in the Camp Store. Electricity and lighting available makes camping enjoyable even when rain is to be expected. Check their website for Cabin Rental Rates.

In addition to the amenities included in the Water Park area, camping at Clay’s Park Resort also allows guests access to other features within the park. The Camp Store is a convenient place to get ice, fire wood, ice cream, or anything you might have forgotten at home. I had to pick up a toothbrush and plastic cups. An indoor heated pool provides swimming for campers even on days the weather is not ideal. It also has special adults only hours in both the morning and evening. A hot tub, dry sauna, and steam room add upscale touches to your camping experience. Restrooms with showers as well as laundry facilities are also available nearby. 20-Acre Fishing Lake
Campers may also take advantage of the 20-acre, annually stocked fishing lake. Separate from the swimming lake, it is fed by a natural spring and just a short walk away from the campsites. No fishing license is required. What a fun way to spend time with the kids.
Sunday Fellowship Hour

In addition to worship, live music performances and sing alongs allow your family to continue enjoying vacation without missing worship. Beverages and snacks are also provided.
Clay’s Park Staff Are Very Responsive
At one point during our stay, we found that the restroom and showers nearest our campsite had been left in less than desirable conditions by other camping guests. Recalling some signs I had seen in the restrooms to please alert park staff if the restrooms needed attention, I notified someone. It was apparent to me that the staff at Clay’s Park Resort take pride in the park and its appearance as it did not take long for someone to be sent to take care of the restroom. While there are several scheduled restroom cleanings throughout the day, if you find that other park guests during your stay are not courteous in how they leave the facilities when they are finished using them, be sure to notify park employees. They genuinely care about how their park is kept and take pride in it. Other guests will appreciate it too.
Other Events at Clay’s Park Resort
Throughout the year, Clay’s Park Resort plays host to several other memorable events including concerts. On August 10-11, 2013, my brother, some of his friends, and numerous warriors-at-heart will be participating in the Warrior Dash hosted by Clay’s Park Resort. I am certain participants and spectators alike will be making many memories. I have always wanted to go to the Yankee Peddler Festival which will also be hosted by Clay’s Park Resort on September 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, and 22 from 10:30 AM until 6:00 PM each day. What a great way to teach history to our children with a memorable impact.
