For the love of Chocolate Festival

Faith in Action presents the 19th Annual “For the Love of Chocolate” Festival! Come try luscious chocolate samples, and check out the candy land for kids! Other Festivities Include: Bake Sale of Contest Winners, Decadent Dessert Contest, Chocolate Cookie Contest, Snack Bar by Dominic’s Pizza, $1 Hot Fudge Sundaes and Unique Valentines Gifts. Children 5 years and up must have ticket ($10 for 8 samples) at the Medina Preforming Arts Center, Medina High School 851 Weymouth rd. February 6th 11am-3pm.

For children ages 10 and up, come make no-sew sock critters! Socks and scraps are used to create adorable no-sew sock critters. Class is February 7th but you must register online by February 6th at www.medinacountyparks.com. Wolf Creek Environmental Ctr, 6100 Ridge Rd, Sharon Township, February 7th 2-4pm

Puppet Show: Mindy Mouse Finds a Flower

Enjoy a puppet show with your children. In this puppet show Mindy Mouse discovers the most beautiful flower in the park and brings it home. After the other animals see her flower, they decide they need to have their own flowers to show off in their homes and start digging up the park looking for them. After the show the kids can enjoy making a craft. Recommended ages 4 yrs- 10 yrs.  with adult present. Register online at www.medinacountyparks.com. The 22nd Annual Medina Ice Festival

This amazing four day ice event will showcase nearly 100 ice sculptures sponsored by local businesses. Friday is a speed carving competition at 5:30pm followed by the lighting of the Fire & Ice Tower at 7pm. Then there is an individual carving competition is on Saturday from 1pm to 4pm; and a team carving competition is on Sunday from Noon to 4pm.  All works of ice art will be on display throughout the weekend, day and night. Admission is free!  February 12-15, 2016.

Night Hike

One of the parks naturalist will lead you through the park to experience nighttime sights and sounds, as well as learn a little about the moon and night vision.  Allardale West, meet in the parking lot, 401 Remsen Rd, Medina, February 20th 7-8pm, ages 5+, experience nighttime sights and sounds, 330.722.9364.

Wanted: Bon Jovi Tribute Band

Winter Concerts in the Barn Mapleside Farms hosts a concert in their brand new 8,000 square foot Barn. The beautiful new venue is more than a just a plan barn and is fully equipped with modern day conveniences. This concert will potentially sell out so think about purchasing your tickets online. (a $2 service fee will apply)

Wanted: Bon Jovi Tribute Band hits the stage at 8pm and will play until 11pm.
