You can even check out dinosaur dung – my kids thought this was hilarious. The Akron Fossils & Science Center staff makes learning fun and engaging! They customize every tour to the group, age, and interest. 
The Akron Fossils & Science Center is 4,500 sq ft museum that focuses on creation science and intelligent design. It reveals the origin and history of life backed by science, fossils, and the Bible. The tour guide answered any and all questions my kiddos had!
My kids loved the gem stones and fossils. They were fascinating. My kids could have stayed there for hours since they enjoy collecting rocks.

Admission Rates for the Akron Fossils & Science are between $6-10 for adults, depending on the season and $5-8 for kids. Family passes are also available.
Truassic Park Playground
Truassic Park Playground at the Akron Fossils & Science Center is a huge 2-1/2 acre outdoor adventure park for kids to explore and have fun!
There are many activities and playground equipment for kids (and adults) to have fun with including a zip-line ride, mini-golf, potato sack slide, and more.
Kids love the life size sling shot!
There is an obstacle course that only the brave dare attempt. 😉
As you can see above, the grounds are not manicured, they are a little wild but safe. I was a little surprised by the amount of weeds but the main lawns were mowed. There were a lot of leaves when we went but the sack races were fun!
One thing that sets Truassic Park from any other playground is the playground equipment! Where else can you find a sing like this?! Kids love it! Moms might have to help get it started though. 
Not many playgrounds have merry-go-rounds anymore and it is a shame because kids really enjoy them. The Akron Fossils & Science Center has two to choose from.
My favorite part of the trip was all of the big smiles on my kids’ faces! They could spend hours at Truassic Park Playground.
Some of the guided tours include admission into the outside park, otherwise, it is just $5 to go to the park only – well worth it!
