Akron Skate Park is a great FREE place for your kids and teens to enjoy skateboarding.  It is 19,000 sq ft of fiberglass reinforced concrete. There is an area for beginners, intermediate, and advanced skaters. It has all of the skating surfaces that kids look for in public areas where skateboarding is prohibited. Kids learn new and amazing tricks from other kids. Adults are welcomed too, if you are brave enough.

Akron Skate Park is located on the service road for the Rubber Bowl and Derby Downs Road, next to Akron BMX track (1000 Derby Downs Rd)

This looks so great. It’s too bad they didn’t have more skate parks when we were younger. My friends used to skateboard on the gazebo in the middle of town 😛
