Akron Zoo to Host Inclusion Days on Feb. 27-March 1

The Akron Zoo is partnering with Summit County Board of Developmental Disabilities to host Inclusion Days on Saturday, Feb. 27 – Monday, March 1, 2021.  Wear the color ORANGE to the zoo on any of those days for FREE admission.  Reserve your ticket now!

Inclusion Days are designed to spread the message of inclusion and show support with friends of all abilities.

“While a lot has changed since last March, our desire to shine a light on people of all abilities has not,” expressed Summit DD Superintendent, John Trunk. “We appreciate partners like the Akron Zoo who share our belief that the pandemic may keep us from gathering, but it can’t keep us from connecting!”

When you visit, snap a picture of yourself wearing the color orange and share on social media using #includeME and #akronzooinclusion. We’d love it if you could tag @akronohiomoms too so we can see your smiling faces!

Haven’t been to the Akron Zoo since COVID? Read this post to see all the safety precautions in place.

Reserve your ticket now! You must select the date and half-hour mark that you’d like to visit. This helps spread everyone out throughout the zoo for safety.
