Color Me Bags
Be You has these really neat bags that you can color yourself, How cool is that? Be You sent me two of their wonderful Be Snappy “Color Me” cross body bags. They are well made and have black backs and bright bold lining. My cousin’s daughter and my friends daughter loved coloring these bags! They loved personalizing their bags and when I told them more about Be You they said they would be proud to wear their own work and support the world in a big way.
Giving Back
Be You’s bags are all locally made in Akron, Ohio and are carefully and lovingly stitched to ensure quality. To keep their waste to a minimum and stay as green minded as possible, all their leftover scraps are donated to local organizations for use in quilts for the homeless and dog beds. They also donating their demo bags to shelters for battered and abused women. It’s amazing that one small company can do so much.
Bag +1 Program
Be You took their desire to make a difference to a bigger level. They were appalled by an article in a local newspaper about human trafficking and decided to raise awareness. They started a new program called Bag+1, the goal is that Be You contributes money from each bag sold. Those are use to raise awareness of human trafficking and to help those who have been trafficked. What an amazing task to take on!
These bags are such a fun concept. The girls loved coloring there own bags and supporting such a great cause. If you aren’t interested in coloring your own handbag don’t fret, Be You makes many other beautiful bags that you may choose from.
