Craft from Your Kitchen Cupboards – Bread Painting Craft

I love crafts that I can do at a moments notice. With all of the rainy weather lately, our usual morning outside turned into a crafting morning inside! This is a simple craft that you can do first thing in the morning with items already in your kitchen. So what is this craft we did this morning?

Bread Painting Craft with your Kiddos

This craft is awesome, it’s so simple and fast. Pour milk into glasses, or Dixie cups if you have them. Choose which colors you and your children want for your painting. I put 3 drops of food coloring in each glass and the milk turned a perfectly bright color. Then give each person a piece of bread and paint brush and let them paint whatever their little hearts desire on their bread.

After they are finished, put the bread in a toaster on a lower setting, toast and serve with or without butter.

This is a really easy craft to do. Fast and very simple. It would be great for a Sunday school class, for a party or just for a fun breakfast with eggs.
