The popular Grizzly Bear exhibit at the Akron Zoo has spiked visitor traffic by 59% since the Mike and Mary Stark Grizzly Ridge exhibit opened in late July. If you have visited, you know why. It is an amazing exhibit where you can can get an up close look at two very playful grizzly bears as well as get nose-to-nose with the new otter exhibit.

Breakfast with the Grizzly Bears at Akron Zoo
The Akron Zoo is hosting a new event, Breakfast with the Grizzly Bears on Saturday, September 14, 2013 before the zoo opens from 8-10am.
This is your chance to enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet and learn all about the new grizzly bears at the Akron Zoo. Eric Albers, the zoo’s curator will talk about how Jackson and Cheyenne’s journey and how they made the Akron Zoo their home. You will be able to get an exclusive visit to Grizzly Ridge without the crowd. The Education Department will be there to teach everyone about the new exhibit – so bring your questions!

Tickets are $26 for Akron Zoo adult members, $13 for children members. Non-member adult is $22, children $19.
