My family just discovered Cascade Park in Hudson, Ohio. They have a brand new, state-of-the-art 3 level playground!
My kids love it and we saw quite a few ‘big kids’ ages 10-12 playing on it too. This is a big deal for me since my kids are ages 8 and 10, many playgrounds are too small for them, yet they still want to be kids and play!
There are also has a few smaller playsets, climbing, wall, slide, and swings to play on. There are picnic tables scattered throughout.
In addition to the playground, Cascade Park in Hudson has 3 ball diamonds, a rent-able pavilion that is handicapped accessible, grills, picnic areas, full-court basketball, and water fountain.
There are also 2 short trails, about 3/4 mile each that winds in through the woods. There are a couple small waterfalls that make great backdrops for pictures too.
The trails are picturesque with streams and large trees as you wind through the natural peat bog. The path is mulched but flat enough to hike, jog, or even mountain bike (although I’m not sure if biking is allowed).
You can rent the Holden Pavilion, located near the playground. It includes electricity, grills, water fountain, and is ADA Accessible. There are about a 10 picnic tables in the pavilion.
