Ft Island Griffiths Park
Ft Island Griffiths Park is #1 for on site activities and safety. The playground is surrounded with fences and the Nature Resource Center so there are no worries of kids escaping out of your view. There are 2 play structures for ages 2-5 and 5-12. Playground features include swing sets, slides, climbing walls, activity panels, play wheel, trapeze rings, walking bridges, monkey bars, playhouses, teeter totter, and many kinds of slides. Other amenities at the park include benches, restrooms, drinking fountains, picnic tables, tennis courts, basketball courts, walking trails, and the Learning Resource Center.

Crogan Park
Crogan Park is conveniently located in the heart of Fairlawn, near Summit Mall. Stop by after you drag the kids through the mall – make it a treat worth behaving for! The playground is set on a safe rubberized surface. There are 2 play structures for ages 2-5 and 5-12. The playground includes a large swing set with infant swings, a rock climbing wall, telephone tubes, activity panels, spinning wheels, multiple level decks, playhouses, monkey bars, chin up bars, trapeze rings, loop climbing poles, and many kinds of slides. Other amenities include benches, large grassy open spaces, paved trail, tennis courts, handball courts, basketball courts, picnic tables, and drinking fountain.

Copley Community Park
Copley Community Park is a well kept secret, only recently opened in 2006. It has two large playgrounds for kids. Both playgrounds have separate play structures for ages 2-5 and 5-12. The playgrounds have swing sets with infant swings, walking bridges, tire swing, tunnels, cliff climber, climbing bars and walls, playhouses, and multiple slides. The play areas are set on mulch for safe playing. Parents can relax on the steel benches that surround the play areas. Other amenities include large grassy open spaces, soccer field, baseball field, hiking and paved trails, benches, picnic tables, pavilion, ponds, and streams. Bring bread to feed the fish that will swim right up to the edge while you walk the trails alongside the pond!

Heritage Hill Playground
This impressive 30,000 sq ft playground is community built and has won awards. Heritage Hill Playground is located within Boettler Park. This playground includes tire climbing walls, rock walls, swings, tunnels, ramps, large multi-level platforms, challenge courses, learning panels, multiple slides, and unique hiding spaces throughout. Other amenities include paved walking trail, stocked fishing pond, tennis courts, basketball courts, benches, picnic tables, pavilion, restrooms, and the 1885 Lichtenwalter one room school house.

Hardesty Park
Hardesty Park is a sort of old-fashioned neighborhood playground with large elm trees that shade the newly renovated playground. The playground offers swing sets and three play structures. Play structures provide entertainment with monkey bars, climbing structures, teeter totter, trapeze rings, and many types of slides. Other amenities include walking trails, large open grassy spaces, benches, picnic tables, pavilions, and many organized activities during summer months. No fences, so keep a close eye on your kids.

Water Works Park
It’s a risk but the Water Works Park has a great outdoor playground that is free and open to the public. If you can take your kids here without going to their fablous indoor water park, the kids will have a great time. Or just plan to end your trip to the water park outside on this great playground. This playground includes climbing structures, chin up bars, look outs, multi-level landings, activity panels, and many slides. Other amenities include baseball field, Canoe launch, fishing pier, fitness and hiking trails, horseshoe court, benches, picnic tables and shelters, grills, restroom facilities, soccer field, and for pay indoor water park.

Memorial Park
Memorial Park is located off of Tallmadge Circle. This 14 acre park has two play large structures for toddlers and primary school age kids on a mulch surface. The fenced in playground has swing sets, walking bridges, playhouses with seating and tables, multi level landings, climbing structures, chin up bars, track ride, monkey bars, climbing chains, large sand box, trapeze rings, parallel bars and many different slides. Other amenities include benches, picnic tables, pavilion, walking paths, and ball fields.

Copley Road Soccer Complex Playground
Copley Road Soccer Complex’s primary purpose is for soccer events. However, there is a great playground at the center of it all. The fenced in playground has a mulch surface, walking bridges, spiral climbers, steppers, large animal activity panels, and many different types of slides. This newly developed area offers little shade. Other amenities include restrooms, soccer fields, soda vending machines, water fountain, benches, picnic tables, pavilion, and large open grassy areas.
