We had so much fun at our DisneySide Costume Party earlier this Spring. Everyone dressed up as their favorite Disney character. My husband and I have always enjoyed hosting themed parties like this from the time we were first married. Costumes are fun for more than just Halloween! Having themed parties with costumes can make any day fun and exciting for both kids and adults. My kids enjoy wearing their costumes for everyday fun too!

Costume Express has costumes for the entire family in all sizes, even for fido! I’d really like to explore the Group Costumes for my family for a theme party soon. That would be so cool! Here are a few of my favorites.
For our DisneySide Party, Elijah wanted to be a pirate. Costume Express offers quite the selection of pirate costumes for boys – and the entire family. We chose the Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean costume. It is quite the costume, even with a bandana with pirate hair! What a handsome pirate he makes! Argh!
My daughter loves Tinkerbell, especially with all the new Tinkerbell movies. They even have costumes for Zarina from The Pirate Fairy! Costume Express offers a large assortment of Tinkerbell costumes for girls and women. We chose the Tink and the Fairy Rescue version. 
The wings secure to the back of the costume, making it very comfortable for little fairies. My daughter enjoys playing dress up all the time, especially when she has friends over to play.
For the DisneySide party, I went as Jessie from Toy Story! I had way, way too much fun being the loveable toy cowgirl from Toy Story! I made people laugh too, so it was a win-win for us all. ha! It has been a very long time since I wore a one-piece costume like this – maybe 30 years! However, it was a lot of fun and super comfortable too.
At our DisneySide party, Elite Photo Booth kept everyone entertained with photo strips – another great addition to any party. It was so fun seeing everyone in their costumes – playing the roles of their character. It’s funny how you can turn into a cowgirl with a Jessie costume or fairy with a Tinkerbell costume!
Check out the pictures of my kids and I in our costumes! I keep mine hanging from Post-It Grip Display Rail to my home office so I can see it all the time.
I encourage you to have a little more fun at your next party by throwing a themed party with costumes. You are sure to create memories that will last and last! Costumes are also fun for dress up everyday for kids – it is a great way to spur on their imaginations too. We also wear our costumes when we go to a movie and we have a matching theme costumes!
