While I was in LA last month for the blogger trip, I was able to attend an advanced showing of Disney’s The Pirate Fairy. I have been waiting since then to share with you about this exciting new Tinkerbell movie that both girls and boys are going to love. This movie has something for everyone, fairies, pirates, action, humor, and adventure!

I had the amazing opportunity to visit DisneyToon Studios last month during an all expense paid trip to L.A. to learn about the upcoming home releases of three fantastic movies.

In The Pirate Fairy, you’ll be introduced to a new dust-keeper fairy, Zarina. She is a little unconventional, much like Tinker Bell. In fact, one of my favorite quotes is from Fairy Gary.
“Zarina, you’re the most inquisitive fairy I’ve ever known. Correction: It’s a tie. Let’s just say you’re the Tinker ell of Dust-Keepers.”
This was not a compliment as Fairy Gary was tired of Zarina asking too many questions and wanting to try something new with the fairy dust.
In The Pirate Fairy, Zarina wants to explore the possibilities of fairy dust. When she does, her reckless manner comprises all of Pixie Hollow. When Fairy Gary tells her she cannot come back to dust work, she flees.
About a year later, a totally new Zarina appears to take all the essential blue pixie dust. Luckily, Tinker Bell, Rosetta, Silvermist, Vidia, and Iridessa follow her and go on an epic adventure. They soon find out that Zarina is now the pirate fairy, acting as captain of pirates from Skull Rock! This is where all the boys will love the movie as there is plenty of pirate scenes including sword-to-sword fight scenes!

Peter Pan fans are going to get so excited to see how Peter Pan and The Pirate Fairy are related in Neverland. Young cabin boy James is someone very important in Peter Pan – as is Baby Croc, who you’ll be introduced too in this movie.
There are so many good parts in the movie, including when the fairies’ talents are switched. They are quite clumsy at first, making for really funny scenes. In the end, teamwork and love wins. Another favorite quote from the movie is when Tinkerbell tells Zarina, “We didn’t just come back for the pixie dust.”
This is a must-have movie that your family will treasure. We got an advanced copy and my kids have watched it 3 times in 2 days! Both my daughter and son love it!
