Located in the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley, Hale Farm & Village welcomes you to celebrate the Fall Harvest at their annual Harvest Festival. Enjoy Harvest time as they would have years ago as you watch how foods were prepared and persevered in the village of Wheatfield. (It is the closet you’ll get to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park during the government shut-down too!)
I received tickets to facilitate this post.
During the Harvest Festival, you and your kids will experience the best of harvest season from jumping into hay piles (my kids can’t wait!) to tasting delicious apple butter and cider. Hale Farm Harvest Festival runs for two weekends, October 12-13 & 19-20 from 10:00 am to 5:00.
Kids will be interested to see how times have changed when compared to years ago from how families worked and lived to responsibilities of kids. Enjoy fun activities at the Hale Farm barnyards, while you enjoy visiting the chickens, oxen, hogs, and sheep.
Your whole family will enjoy pumpkin painting and wagon rides too. You can even use antique farm equipment to try your hand at pressing apple cider, grinding and shelling corn, and more. Enjoy the best of Fall with fresh apple butter, sauerkraut, and old fashioned popcorn. Enjoy all the Hale Farm crafts and trades demonstrations all weekend long!
