Save Time This Summer with The Happy Trunk

Forget running to the craft store to piece together a craft for your kids. Just go to The Happy Trunk and for a monthly subscription price of $19.99 you can have 3 crafts for the month sent right to your door! You also have the choice to buy a 3 month, 6 month and annual subscription as well.

Our package with full of products that were a great quality, and there were even a few pieces left over after our crafts were finished, so I saved them for a rainy day when my girls just want to glue random things to paper. Maybe your house is similar?  My girls love to craft and were really excited to see all of the pieces we needed turn into something fun.

Our first project was a stained glass shape, made from contact paper, wire, and tissue paper shapes, this was easy and a really easy clean up. The kit included a battery powered tealight candle to put behind our shape when we were finished.

My daughters loved doing the Rainbox Wire Sculpture, twisting the pipe cleaners and adding feathers, buttons and beads to their sculpture to make it one of a kind.

Grace and Claire loved choosing out which objects they wanted to put in their Found Object Sculpture. The idea behind this is to choose a variety of objects, then glue them to your base. After they have dried, paint over the entire sculpture piece with a single color, in our case, white. Then once dried, hang it up and stand back to see how many objects you can find.
