Race Week is just days away here in Akron! The All American Soap Box Derby Championships take place here in Akron with events for racing families and spectators alike! Catch the races, a 5K race,Parades and Ceremonies, Local and Global Racers, the Family “Grub Crawl” at Downtown Akron Restaurants (special themed events/decor).

I know that Boy Scouts can be pretty involved with derby car racing, but, I was truly surprised to see all the young ladies that race and participate in this sport!
The First Heat of the Big Derby Race starts at 8:30am on Saturday the 27th.
