As we juggle playdates, messy rooms, and those endless “why?” questions, sometimes stories come along that just stop us in our tracks and remind us of the fragility of life. One of those stories is about a sweet little angel, Charles Martin Corvi. Charlie’s time on Earth may have been brief, but oh, the footprints he left on so many hearts!
This weekend, how about we switch things up a bit? How about a day outdoors, biking through the scenic trails of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, all while supporting a cause that’s so, so close to our hearts? I’m talking about Charlie’s Challenge 2023.
Did you know that 24,000 babies are lost to stillbirth each year. That’s 24,000 families with stories similar to Charlie’s. Heartbreaking, right? But together, we can bring a sliver of hope and light into this situation. The goal is to raise $25,000 to help.
Why You and Your Family Should Join Charlie’s Challenge:
- A Day Out in Nature: Ditch Netflix for a day and immerse your kiddos in the beauty of nature. And guess what? There’s a route for adults and one for the littles, so everyone’s included!
- Make a Real Difference: Riding isn’t just about the exercise (though that’s a bonus!). We’re raising awareness, funds, and most importantly, riding in solidarity with every family that’s felt this pain.
- Connect with Fellow Moms: Swap stories, share a laugh, or even shed a tear. This is our tribe, our community. Let’s strengthen it.

Can’t ride? No sweat! You can still wrap your arms around this cause. A small donation, or even just sharing the challenge with your friends, goes a long way.
Let’s ride with heart, ride for memories, and most importantly, ride for babies like Charlie.
Catch you on the trail!
