This is your chance to enjoy the 1828 French ballet inspired by choreographer Frederick Ashton’s love of the Suffolk countryside – all in the comforts of a local movie theater!

LA FILLE MAL GARDÉE is laced with good humor with dancing chickens, grouchy guardians and halfwit suitors! It is Ashton’s simple tale of boy meets girl with the most virtuosic choreography for all to enjoy! You’ll enjoy elements of national folk dance throughout the performance including Lancashire clog dance and even a maypole dance.
