Summit County Fireworks and Independence Day 2021

Akron, OH 4th of July Downtown Block Party on July 3, 2021

Akron: Lock 3 is hosting a Downtown Block Party on July 3 from 2-7 p.m. Fireworks 9:45pm. Enjoy a food truck round-up, craft beer tasting, inflatables and live music by 45 RPM at 2 and 5pm, Realm of Reptile Show at 3 and 4pm. Location is Lock 3 Akron Cleveland Clinic Stage. Downtown Akron Partnership is hosting Family Skate on Cascade Plaza from 3-6 p.m. It is open to anyone and they have skate rental. Both events are free to attend.

Enjoy 4 synchronized neighborhood fireworks displays in Akron at 9:45pm on July 4, 2021. Fireworks will be launched from the Akron Executive Airport, Patterson Park Ballfields, Summit Lake, and Erie Island. Watch from your own home or neighborhoods and enjoy from a distance. Test fires shot at 8:30, 9, and 9:30 so you can get a good spot. Tune to WONE 97.5FM.

Hudson, OH Fireworks on July 3, 2021

Hudson, Ohio is holding their Independence Day Fireworks Celebration at dusk on Saturday, July 3 at Barlow Farm Park. Food trucks open at 7 p.m. DJ Area330 will provide music from 7:30-9 p.m.!

There is no parking available at Little Tikes this year due to renovations taking place. Free parking at JoAnn Fabrics, 5555 Darrow Road (shuttle service provided to the park) and Oak Grove Park, 2200 Barlow Road (limited parking; Hudson Police Department assisting. Shuttle service is not provided from this location to or from Barlow Farm Park). Free handicap parking is available and encouraged at Wood Hollow Metro Park, 2121 Barlow Road.

Stow, OH 4th of July Parade on July 4, 2021

This year’s July 4 Parade in Stow, Ohio will be a mini representation of their traditional parades due to COVID. This year’s theme are Superheroes. The parade covers 34 miles around Stow – wear your patriotic clothes and play patriotic music as they drive by!

Parade steps off at 10 a.m. from Stow City Hall (3760 Darrow Rd).  The Firecracker Run was cancelled.

Portage County Fireworks and Independence Day 2021

Aurora, Ohio 4th of July Parade, Run & Drive -in Movie Night on July 3, 2021

The Aurora Independence Day events start with a 5K and 1-mile walk/run, Bicentennial Park, state Route 43 and East Pioneer Trail, is on July 3, 2021 at 8 a.m. (Registration at 7 a.m.), register online here. Drive-in movie night at Aurora High School senior lot, movie starts at dusk. Registration required.

Parade starts at 1 p.m. at state Routes 306/43. Festival at 2 p.m. at Kiwanis-Moore Park. Food trucks will be open. Fireworks at Pioneer baseball fields 9:45 p.m.

Medina County Fireworks and Independence Day 2021

Brunswick, OH Fireworks on July 3, 2021

Fireworks will be shot from the high school in Brunswick, Ohio at  9:30 p.m. on July 3, 2021.

Medina, OH Fireworks and Parade on July 3-4, 2021

Fireworks after dark at Medina High School parking lot on July 3, 2021. Rain date is July 5. There will be an Independence Day parade at 4pm on July 4th.  Parade route begins at Medina High School parking lot, heads south on Spring Grove, then west on Liberty Street and around the Square.

Valley City, OH Parade and Fireworks on July 4, 2021

The Valley City 3th of July Parade steps off at 1 p.m. on July 4,2021  from state Route 303 to West River to School Street to Maple Street, ending at Mill Stream Park. Car Show at the park. Concessions available. 7 p.m., music by Sarena Tamburitza Orchestra. Food, water and pop served. Fireworks at dusk.

The Wadsworth Independence Day event is July 2 at 6-10:30 p.m. Food trucks will be downtown as well as over 30 downtown restaurants and retailers. Fireworks about 10 p.m. Event is free. Rain date is July 5.

Orrville, OH Parade, Carnival & Fireworks on June 30, 2021 – July 4, 2021

The Orrville 4th of July Parade is at 7 p.m. June 30. Carnival midway with rides, games and food at Orr Park through July 4. Fire in the Sky Fast Pitch Softball Tournament, girls 14 or younger, July 1-4. Fireworks about 10:15 p.m. July 4.

Alliance, OH Fireworks on July 4, 2021

Alliance will have fireworks on July 4th at dusk at Silver Park, 2930 S. Union Ave.

Canton, OH Fireworks on July 4, 2021

In Canton, A Monumental 4th Independence Day fireworks will take place at McKinley Presidential Library & Museum. Monument grounds open at 7 p.m. on July 4 with entertainment at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks will start around 9:50 p.m. The fireworks staging area will be adjacent to the McKinley Monument.

Massillon, OH Fireworks on July 3, 2021

The Massillon Celebration at Duncan Plaza is on July 3rd with free admission. Li’l Miss Liberty and Li’l Uncle Sam pageant for ages 3 to 7 at 6 p.m. New Wave Nation performs at 7 p.m. Concludes with fireworks display at 9:45 p.m.
