Day Out With Thomas: The Friendship Tour 2017
It is the time of year all kids are waiting for – when Thomas the Train pulls into town for a Day Out with Thomas, an event friendship and family fun! Kids get the chance to hang out with their #1 Engine friend, Thomas and ride the rails of the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad for an unforgettable experience! Your ticket includes a 30 minute with your favorite engine pulling all the cars, a chance to meet Sir Topham Hatt and a day of Thomas & Friends fun!
This year’s theme is The Friendship Tour so there will be plenty of friendship-inspired activities for the whole family to enjoy. Enjoy photo opportunities, crafts, and fun activity that invites kids to collect passport stamps throughout the day to receive a trio of Day Out With Thomas friendship bracelets. With this theme, plan your Day Out with Thomas with your kids’ friends’ families too! The goal behind this theme is to teach the importance of friends, especially the importance of ‘first friends’ and the development of key friendship skills for toddlers and kids of all ages.
This event is a full day of fun! Be sure to arrive 1 hour EARLY for your train departure so you have time to pick up your tickets and board Thomas the Tank. There will be plenty of fun activities to enjoy both before and after your train ride, so plan accordingly!
When we went a few years ago, there were even free inflatable bounces for the kids. There was also a huge tent with real model trains running and a fabulous Thomas the Tank gift shop!
