If you planned to go to the Akron Zoo on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and have your ticket still, you can use those tickets for a free Akron Zoo Day on January 29, 2022. The zoo closed due to weather on Martin Luther King Jr. Day so they are honoring those tickets at a later date – hopefully, we don’t have another snowstorm!
Any zoo tickets dated Monday, Jan. 17 will be accepted on Jan. 29. National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa will be offering fun activities throughout the day. Parking fees still apply.
If you love snowy pictures of animals, check out our post Akron Zoo in the Snow!
The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Winter hours are 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is $9 per person. Children under two are free and parking is $5. For more information visit www.akronzoo.org or call (330) 375-2550.
