Prom is around the corner for many of our high school seniors, my daughter included. It’s a special time that we all look forward to but for many families, the high price tag on dresses, accessories, and tickets can make it a very stressful time or unattainable altogether. As my own daughter and her friends have started shopping,  I’ve been shocked by the cost of it all. It make me even more thrilled to share the news of an incredible incredible opportunity that I share about every year. Princess Night Project gives the dream of prom to many NE Ohio young ladies, giving them their dream prom dress completely FREE!

Over the last 24 years, Altrusa International of Akron has made prom dreams come true for 3,000 local NE Ohio high school girls with free prom dresses, shoes, jewelry, and purses.

Free Prom Dresses in Akron, Ohio

There is no pre-registration or other qualifications required. All NE Ohio girls are invited to attend the Princess Night Project event to pick out their free prom dresses.  Each young lady will be asked for their school’s name and how they heard about the event (tell them Cindy from AkronOhioMoms.com sent you!). Once you arrive at the event, each girl will be guided by their own personal shopper to help them find the perfect dress.

Choose from 2,000 prom dresses – organized by size for easy shopping. Once you pick out your dress, pick out the perfect pair of shoes to complete the look. Finish the look with a purse, accessories, and jewelry. Your princess will look and feel her best this prom year – with none of the financial stress or burden. I love what the Princess Night Project represents for our NE Ohio girls.
