This holiday season, the Greater Cleveland Aquarium is teaming up with the Hunger Network to support those facing food insecurity in Ohio. From November 13-19, 2024, you can make a difference by donating much-needed non-perishable food items and hygiene products. In return, donors will receive $7 off same-day Aquarium admission.
Ohio has a food insecurity rate of 11.5%, higher than the national average, making it more important than ever to help our neighbors in need. Donations of items such as jelly, nut butter, shelf-stable milk, and whole grain cereals are especially encouraged. In addition, essential personal hygiene items like deodorant, toilet paper, and diapers are welcomed.

Hunger Network serves more than 45,000 individuals each month, and your contributions can help expand their reach. Greater Cleveland Aquarium General Manager, Stephanie White, says, “We’re excited to continue our long-standing partnership with Hunger Network and help load up their truck with team and guest donations.”
If you’re an Aquarium Annual Passholder, while you already enjoy free admission, your donation during the drive will enter you into a raffle for a chance to win a one-year membership extension.
Donations can be made at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium, located at 2000 Sycamore Street, Cleveland, OH, during regular operating hours (10 am – 4 pm). For any questions about the drive or details on how to donate, you can visit the Aquarium’s website or call 216.862.8803. Join us in nourishing our neighbors and enjoy a rewarding day at the Aquarium!
