Holiday Lantern Tours: A Journey Through Time
The Holiday Lantern Tours, now in their 28th season, are not just an event; they are a journey through time. As we stroll through the lantern-lit village, we’re welcomed into homes where the 19th-century holiday spirit is alive and well. The decorations, the warmth, and the hospitality are a heartwarming reminder of the simplicity and joy of the season.
Creating Lasting Memories with Family
This year’s tours, running December 2, 3, 8-10, 15-17 and 20-23, are a perfect way to spend time with family and friends. It’s these moments, walking together under the soft glow of lanterns, that become our most treasured memories.
We’ve found that it’s not the gifts or the perfectly clean house that our children will remember, but the time spent together surrounded by the magic of holidays. My husband and I have enjoyed takng our kids to the Holiday Lantern Tours at Hale Farm & Village for more than a decade, we’ve walked the lantern-lit paths throughout the years as our kids have grown from toddlers to teens. One day, I hope to walk alongside grandkids just as my parents and in-laws have walked along with our kids over the years at Hale Farm.
A Unique Shopping Experience
The Hale Farm MarketPlace, open during all events, offers a unique shopping experience. Over the years, I’ve collected beautiful hand-blown glass ornaments made at Hale Farm, and my kids always look forward to picking out old-fashioned toys. It’s a wonderful place to find gifts that are both meaningful and unique. I plan to stop by this week to pick up unique stocking stuffers for St. Nicholas Day next week, I know my college-age son will enjoy opening his stocking miles from home and see something unique from Hale Farm and home.
Looking Forward to This Year’s Tour
As we plan our visit for this year’s Holiday Lantern Tours, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement. With my son returning from college, it’s an opportunity to reconnect and create new memories. I encourage all families to consider making the Holiday Lantern Tours part of their holiday tradition. Whether it’s your first visit or a long-standing tradition, the experience is sure to leave you with a sense of wonder and family memories that will last a lifetime. Secure your tickets now.
