Meet soldiers, cavalry, and civilians at the Civil War Reenactment at Hale Farm & Village on August 12-13, 2017. This 2-day event is your chance to witness the reenactment of the Battle of Big Bethel, walk through the Union and Confederate camps, smell the gun powder, meet soldiers and more. Hale Farm & Village does an incredible job at bringing history to life!

The Hale Farm & Village Civil War Reenactment is the largest annual Civil War reenactment in Ohio. You’ll be impressed by the number of actors in the battle as well as the camp sites throughout the village. It feels so authentic! The battle is so real-like with the sounds and even smell of gunpowder! Be sure to line up by the fence early to get a good spot at the battle!

Throughout the event, you can walk through the camps, talk to the soldiers (who are eager to tell their story), and shop for unique period gifts. The food is delicious as well!

This is a fantastic family-fun event that kids of all ages and adults can enjoy and learn from. You can even purchase 2-day passes so you don’t miss anything!
