The Salvation Army of Summit County and Rubber City Theatre will showcase its new student-produced performance of Disney’s Lion King Kids on July 21st and July 22nd at the Salvation Army Citadel Theater.
Friday’s 6:30pm performance and Saturday’s 2:00pm performance are free. Saturday’s final 6:30 performance is $10, but includes refreshments. Alternately, you can bring a new or used band instrument and get in free on Saturday Evening’s event.
This 30 minute production includes some of the great songs from the 1994 classic, and is performed by children from Billy Booth’s Arts and Science Factory. The children learned of set and costume design, playwriting, musical performance, scoring, choreography, directing and promotion through this course.
