I was talking with a friend tonight about how fast our kids are growing up. She regrets not spending enough ‘fun time’ with them to create life long memories. I suggested she check her calendar and plan special events. There is so much to do and see in the Akron/Cleveland area including Monster Jam at Quicken Loans Arena on February 18-19, 2017!!

If you haven’t been to Monster Jam before (like my friend), read my reviews – it is a blast for kids and adults of all ages! Where else can you witness the thrill of head-to-head, larger than life Monster Jam trucks, ATV’s and speedsters racing and doing incredible stunts right before your eyes!? It is an incredible experience – perfect for family bonding and memory making!
Cheering for the drivers is always fun, this year it is going to be extra exciting because our very own Cleveland-born Bari Musawwir is the driver for Zombie (the monster truck in the header image above)! Previously, Grave Digger (below) has been a crowd favorite. I can’t wait to see Zombie and Grave Digger battle each other at Monster Jam Triple Threat in Cleveland! It’s going to be electrifying!
Monster Jam is a different kind of fun than most are use to. There isn’t anything tame, quiet, or ordinary here. Be sure to bring ear plugs or buy them there because it is LOUD! You’ll see many monster trucks! Lots of racing and freestyle stunts, donuts, wheelies, and tons and tons of action.
I told my friend to get past the some ol’ stuff she normally does with her kids (movies, game night, shopping) and have some serious, exciting fun with them. That is where memories are created! Now all her kids are talking about is how many days until Monster Jam!

Monster Jam Gives FREE Tickets to Cleveland Schools
I love companies that give back! Monster Jam is partnering with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) and Radio One to give back to the northeast Ohio community.
To incentivized attendance for CMSD students, Monster Jam is donating 500 FREE tickets (valued at $12,500) to the CMSD that will be used to reward schools that have the most improved attendance leading up to the show!
Party in the Pits
You won’t want to miss Party in the Pits! It is a pre-show party that gives fans the chance to see the monster trucks up close as well as meet the fearless drivers, take their pictures and get autographs. My family always loves this part of Monster Jam! There is nothing like seeing a Monster Truck up close – they looks big from the stands but they are enormous up close!
Plus there are always things you can check out like the motor bikes below and the military usually has a vehicle or two to climb inside.
Party in the Pits sells out every year, so get your Pit Passes early for just $10 online or at Quicken Loans Arena box office – while supplies last.
Pit Party takes place from 10:30AM-12:00PM before the Saturday and Sunday matinee performances. Must have corresponding event ticket in order to obtain pit pass.
