New Halloween Event at Akron Zoo

Howl-O-Ween Celebration akron zoo 2020

Make plans now for your family to attend the new Halloween event at the Akron Zoo! Instead of Boo at the Zoo, the Akron Zoo has designed Howl-O-Ween Celebration, a new event this year with COVID-19 safety precautions in place.

Guests can still dress up (with a mask) and enjoy themed selfie stations throughout the zoo. There will even be meet and greets with costumed characters (socially distant) and every child will receive a pre-stuffed treat bag at the end of the visit. (if you have food allergy concerns, ask for a Teal Project non-food treat bag.)

I’m so glad that the Akron Zoo is giving our children the opportunity to still have fun this Halloween! So many events and fun things have been taken away from them since the pandemic started. They have very good safety procedures in place to protect and socially distance people – we’ve seen it first hand and approve!

If your child has special needs, mark Saturday, October 24th on your calendar. Zoothing Howl-O-Ween is a special event without loud noises and crowds. Limited tickets available, order now.
