The Summit County Fair is this week, July 25- 30, 2017 at the Summit County Fairgrounds in Tallmadge, Ohio.
This is a sponsored post.
The Summit County Fair is a family-fun event for all ages. There is so much to do and see that you might want to invest in a 6-day admission pass for only $30! There is so much to do and see at the fair. Our favorite part of the fair are the animals including goats, steers, lambs, hogs, cows, and horses. The fair also showcases cooking, rocketry, woodworking, sewing and more in the Agriculture & Forestry barns.
The 4-H group is ready to showcase their accomplishments and invite others to join 4-H with the “Ag-Venture” program. Visit 9 stations and collect stamps at each for a chance to win prizes. It is a great way to ensure you see everything as well! This is the perfect time to chat with 4-H members to hear about their experience and decide if 4-H is for you. That is what my family is going to do this year as both of my kids want to join 4-H. Did you know that you don’t need an animal to join 4-H? It’s open to everyone, even if you don’t have space for a horse at home!
There are so many fun entertainment options at the fair including things like pig races that you can only experience at the fair.
At the grandstand, enjoy a variety of entertaining events including Motocross (Tuesday), Demolition Derby (Wednesday), Truck Pulling (Thursday), OSTPA Sanctioned Pull (Friday), Tractor Pull (Saturday), and Rough Truck Contest (Sunday). Additional pricing for grandstand admission.
Of course the rides are a favorite fair activity, especially for kids! All day ride passes range from $11-15 per day or purchase individual ride passes.
Don’t forget the delicious food that can only be enjoyed at the fair like funnel cakes, cotton candy, fair fries, and fresh squeezed lemonade!
Be sure to take your family to the Summit County Fair this week! It is a fun summer tradition in Summit county that I’m sure your family will enjoy.
