Making a Mother’s Day gift for mom and grandma couldn’t be easier this year. Take your kids to Lowe’s on Saturday May, 8, 2011 at 10am where they can build their own Trellis Planter for mom! You must RSVP through the Lowe’s Kid Workshops for the nearest Lowe’s store.
Lowe’s Kid Workshops happen every Saturday at 10am. Kids love building stuff and these easy kits are fun for kids and parents! Kids love to say “I built it!” and this builds confidence! Your kids will also receive a free apron, goggles, a project themed patch, and a certification of merit upon completion of their project. If you can’t make it to the Mother’s Day craft, make plans to attend another weekend soon!

I think with Lowe’s you do have to rsvp, call your store before you just show up with your kids or you might be disappointed.
if you dont reply does it matter?
Kitty, you need to pre-register, this is actually an article from 2010, however they are offering it again this year. Check out my article here for details: 34 Mother’s Day Brunches, Events, and Activities in Akron, Ohio Area
I WILL BE BRINGING MY GRANDCHILD TO THE WORKSHOP ON SAT. IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT? MY GRANDCHILDREN ARE 6 YEARS OLD AND 2 YEARS OLD.
yep, send him with your babies and have him ‘help’ your kids make you one for Mother’s Day. 😉
This is soooo cute!!! Wish my kids were old enough to make me one, lol. Maybe hubby can go?
