Summer is ending and we are already looking forward to Fall festivities. One such even is Boo at the Akron Zoo. It is a local favorite attraction for Halloween in Akron, Ohio. It is so popular that some dates even sell out! Although school is just starting, now is the time to buy tickets to Boo at the Akron Zoo before they sell out. Another reason to buy early is for the great discount when you buy now through October 13, 2012.
Boo at the Akron Zoo runs Oct. 13–14, 19-21 and 26-28, 2012. Hours are 5:30 – 8 p.m. on Fridays and 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. We go every year and my kids have such a good time – not to mention excellent candy and non-candy treats!!

Not only will your kids enjoy non-scary themes, festive decorations, and lighted displays throughout the zoo but they will also get to see all the zoo animals. With cooler temps, the animals get even more active! The Akron Zoo does a great job with the 12 different themed stations. Not only are the stations decorated but so are the people! New this year will be an underwater reef station to help celebrate their new exhibit, Journey to the Reef and a super hero station.
