If you are looking for a relaxing walk around a lake, a peaceful place to fish, or archery range, Liberty Park of Tinkers Creek State Park in Streetsboro, Ohio is for you.
There are always people fishing at Tinkers Creek State Park. This 15 acre lake is spring-fed (you’ll cross over the streams on the path) and home to bass, bluegill, crappie, perch, and catfish.
Liberty Park is located within Tinkers Creek State Park and offers a short 1.5 mile Pond Run Trail and 3/4 mile Lake-view Trail that are easy to walk with families. Although not paved, the trails are mostly flat. 
We especially like the Lake-view Trail because it offers beautiful views of the lake the entire way. You’ll also get to see extensive marshes all around the park – something you don’t get to see often! 
If you haven’t downloaded the free Summit Metro Parks App yet, I suggest you do. The app includes GPS-enabled directions and maps, birding hot spots, calendar of events, and more of the 15 parks and 125 miles of trails within Summit Metro Parks.
Along the lake, you’ll enjoy seeing wildflowers and walking through canopies of trees. You can also cross-country ski the paths in the winter. 
The boardwalk areas allow you to pass through the marsh areas and streams.
There is a pavilion that you can use or rent (call 440-564-2279) as well as picnic tables near the parking lot. The area is pretty shady because of the large white oak trees. 
There are restroom facilities near the pavilion. 
There is also a really nice archery range to practice your skills. It is set at the end of the drive, away from the trails so it is a safe place for all.
We often visit Tinkers Creek State Park after a visit to SONIC in Streetsboro to walk off the calories. There are not many parks in Streetsboro, so this is a great find!
