Did you know that Super Bowl Sunday is the 2nd highest day for food consumption? Yikes! Make a conscious decision to prepare healthier foods this year that your entire family will enjoy.
I received product to facilitate this post.
My kids are both Type 1 Diabetics, so we always have low-carb snacks on hand. To do this, we have to get creative sometimes. I’ve found delicious products that have become our go-to products over the past 18 months including Sparkling ICE drinks that are 0 carbs! They come in a large variety of flavors that both kids and adults enjoy.
Be sure to have plenty of Sparkling ICE on hand during your Super Bowl party.
Another new and fun drink that my kids enjoy are Aqua Balls. They are naturally fruit flavored, 0 carbs, and have fun characters like Disney FROZEN on them to entice children to drink healthy.
Pick out the characters your kids like most and I promise they won’t miss the sugary drinks.
We buy pickles all the time! Before my kids were diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, we had a jar or two on hand. Now, we always have a variety of Vlasic pickles on hand! Vlasic pickles are a healthy alternative to high calorie potato chips that will satisfy that salty craving. Pickles are high in probiotics and contain antioxidants, which help promote good health.
We also have plenty of fresh made salsas on hand for parties! Be sure to have plenty of serving dishes on hand like the Imusa salsa dish for a festive and decorative serving piece, perfect for appetizers, dipping sauces, guacamole, and salsa.
Mini granite salsa bowls are perfect for grinding up and serving favorites like guacamole and salsa. It is also a great size for pickles as pictured above.
We also have deviled eggs like Sriracha Deviled Eggs on hand for parties since they are low-carb, delicious, and enjoyed by all ages.
Be sure to have plenty of nuts and fresh fruit on hand to round out your low-carb selection of Super Bowl party foods like Halos mandarins, Wonderful Pistachios, and Wonderful Almonds. I especially like the Halos mandarins because they are very sweet at only 8 carbs per serving.
Skip bowls of candies and high-carb sweets and choose Welch’s Fruit Snacks. The convenient 80-calorie pouches are the perfect individual size for calorie and carb control with flavorful varieties including Mixed Fruit, Apple Orchard Medley, Berries ‘n Cherries and much more!
Viki’s Granola is great tasting, gluten-free option to enjoy by the handful or on top of ice cream or frozen yogurt for dessert.
I hope your team wins the Super Bowl and that your family and guests win with these delicious, low carb Superbowl party food options!
