Plan a Movie Night with your daughters with the new Flipped Movie

Have you heard about the new movie, Flipped? It looks like a darling movie about falling in love for the first time. This PG rated movie is brought to life by the director of Stand by Me and The Princess Bride (an all-time favorite for myself and my husband). Flipped, the movie, is adapted from Wendelin Van Draanen’s bestselling novel Flipped. Madeline Carroll is the lead actress, you may have seen her in Swing Vote. This movie promises to be a feel-good movie that your family will watch over and over.

Check out the below clip of this adorable, family friendly movie about first love.

Flipped would be a fun Christmas gift for teens and pre-teens on your Christmas list. Consider buying it and having a girls night in for movie night!

Well….this sounds like a sweeter tale than my first love experience, which wound up being a fairly destructive experience. lol. Seriously, sounds like a sweet flick.

My first love was in the 6th grade and he tried to kiss me and that was the end of that love! 🙂

  8. Mike Metzler says:

My first love I met out of high school. I was a stockboy at K-Mart and she was a cashier. She commented on how much she liked my sweater. A week or two later I asked her out. We’re now married with a six-year old girl.

  9. Lundon says:

I met my first love in the 5th grade and we got married when we were both 19. We’ve been married for a few years now and things are still amazing.

  12. Susan T says:

My first love was named Steve and we dated about a year in high school…I still see him and his wife occassionally. The only other serious boyfriend I had (husband now) was names Steve also….I must have a thing for this name.

  13. Fawn H says:

My first love was when I was in High School I was a sophmore and he was a senior. Everything was great until the next year when he went to college out of state and broke my heart.

  14. KIM KELLY says:

I love Rob Reiner movies in general, but I particularly loved getting both points of view at that young age.. and both young actors were very endearing. I cant wait to watch this movie with my mom 🙂

  15. Mike Schneider says:

My first love was cartoons. I like the intentionality of an artificial reality. Even when the reality is technically flawed there is reason. I’m an animator now… so I guess it turned out to be a good relationship… or at least a codependent one.

As far as the movie, I haven’t seen it yet. But the box has good symmetry with a classic triangular focal point. I’d be better equip to answer after I’ve seen it and that would of course be expedited by winning a copy. *nudge nudge wink wink* 🙂

  16. Theresa C says:

Summer love as a teenager, he was a year older in school, broke my heart :o( I have never seen this movie to offer an opinion.

  17. Chad K says:

  18. Kristen says:

I read a review of this, and thought it sounded cute. Hard to forget your first love, because it’s so magical, but I also remember those first dates with my husband even better! My toes tingled when he kissed me! 🙂

  19. connie black says:

Wow, loaded question! lol I have to say that my first love is my husband! Not only b/c he gave me three amazing children but b/c he is so loving and caring! 🙂

  20. Rae Higgins says:

I got my first kiss at 12 from the cutest boy I had ever seen. He was visiting his grandmother for the summer, so I never saw him after he went back home.

  21. Heather S says:

The movie looks good. My first love was when I was young and stupid. He was trouble but oh so cute. He broke my heart but I got over it quickly.

  22. charline says:
