Plan a Movie Night with your daughters with the new Flipped Movie

Have you heard about the new movie, Flipped? It looks like a darling movie about falling in love for the first time. This PG rated movie is brought to life by the director of Stand by Me and The Princess Bride (an all-time favorite for myself and my husband). Flipped, the movie, is adapted from Wendelin Van Draanen’s bestselling novel Flipped. Madeline Carroll is the lead actress, you may have seen her in Swing Vote. This movie promises to be a feel-good movie that your family will watch over and over.

Check out the below clip of this adorable, family friendly movie about first love.

Flipped would be a fun Christmas gift for teens and pre-teens on your Christmas list. Consider buying it and having a girls night in for movie night!

As huge fans of Princess Bride, I think my husband and I would enjoy this movie greatly.

My first love I met out of high school. I was a stockboy at K-Mart and she was a cashier. She commented on how much she liked my sweater. A week or two later I asked her out. We’re now married with a six-year old girl.
    Thanks!

  9. Lundon says:

  13. Fawn H says:

My first love was when I was in High School I was a sophmore and he was a senior. Everything was great until the next year when he went to college out of state and broke my heart.

  14. KIM KELLY says:

I love Rob Reiner movies in general, but I particularly loved getting both points of view at that young age.. and both young actors were very endearing. I cant wait to watch this movie with my mom 🙂

  15. Mike Schneider says:

My first love was cartoons. I like the intentionality of an artificial reality. Even when the reality is technically flawed there is reason. I’m an animator now… so I guess it turned out to be a good relationship… or at least a codependent one.

As far as the movie, I haven’t seen it yet. But the box has good symmetry with a classic triangular focal point. I’d be better equip to answer after I’ve seen it and that would of course be expedited by winning a copy. *nudge nudge wink wink* 🙂

  20. Rae Higgins says:

I got my first kiss at 12 from the cutest boy I had ever seen. He was visiting his grandmother for the summer, so I never saw him after he went back home.

  21. Heather S says:

The movie looks good. My first love was when I was young and stupid. He was trouble but oh so cute. He broke my heart but I got over it quickly.
