Princess Cindy at #JCPCinderellaMoment and El Capitan Theatre

#JCPCinderellaMoment at #CinderellaEvent

When I found out that I was invited to the #CinderellaEvent last month, I felt like a princess invited to the royal ball.  I’ve never been more excited or concerned about what I was going to wear or how I’d do my hair and makeup – except for on my wedding day! For me to walk the red carpet at the world premiere of the Disney CINDERELLA movie required me to go beyond my plain Jane look! Luckily, we were invited to the JCPenney Glam Ball!

Disney invited me to Los Angeles on an all-expenses paid press trip, in exchange for my coverage. All opinions are my own.

#JCPCinderellaMoment Glam Ball

During the #JCPCinderellaMoment Glam Ball, I knew I’d have my make-up touched up and my hair down, but that was about it. I was thinking something along the lines of going to a hair salon. JCPenney gave us the royal treatment!  With 25 ladies, there were 4 stations for us to cycle through, with our very own “Prince Charming” taking care of us.

First off, JCPenney Accessories!!

#JCPCinderellaMoment at #CinderellaEventWe had our very own stylists helping us select jewelry and clutches from the JCPenney Accessories line for our big night. We brought a photo of our red carpet evening gown, then the stylish made suggestions. They were amazing! I selected a beige clutch with a gold bracelet.

Next stop – make-up! I loved having my make-up done professionally! My make-up artist gave me tips and tricks on how to get the look at home. I was surprised by the colors she chose and how natural they looked one me – a must for my style. Everything was from JCPenney too, I have a list to go shopping this week!

#JCPCinderellaMoment at #CinderellaEventWe also enjoyed a High Tea lunch with fancy finger foods, light bites, tea, lemonade, champagne, and more. I felt like royalty – and ate like it too.#JCPCinderellaMoment at #CinderellaEventI could hardly wait to get my hair styled – I love being pampered, can you tell?! #JCPCinderellaMoment at #CinderellaEventWe were in for a treat as all of the hair stylists were actually JCPenney educators! They were the best of the best and gave us gorgeous, lovely evening hairstyles making red-carpet ready! I also learned some tips and tricks that I started using at home too! I can never pass up learning from the experts!#JCPCinderellaMoment at #CinderellaEventHere I am with a couple bloggers and our handsome “Prince Charming” after our Glam Ball experience. We felt like princesses ready for the ball!#JCPCinderellaMoment at #CinderellaEventI noticed last month that JCPenney has a beautiful selection of Cinderella themed items in virtually every department.#JCPCinderellaMoment at #CinderellaEventI was so excited to be gifted their lovely Disney Collection Cinderella Deluxe Costume for my daughter. I gave it to my daughter last night and she’s barely taken it off – she LOVES it. She keeps telling me how much she likes it and telling me thanks. Isn’t she as pretty as Cinderella in it!?

After the glam party, we walked together from the Loews Hotel to El Capitan Theatre and felt like celebrities as people stared and snapped pictures of us!

The Pre-Premiere Reception was held at El Capitan Theatre! We were able to see the Cinderella gown up close! It was the actual dress that Lily Rose wore in the Cinderella movie. It was so amazing to see the dress up-close. The details are fantastic. The layers and layers that make up the dress were so delicate and so heavy!#JCPCinderellaMoment at #CinderellaEventWe were able to see many of the costumes from the movie as well as photos and props from the movie. Even Cinderella’s Rags Costume was lovely to see in person. I can’t believe the opportunities I was given during this trip!!!#JCPCinderellaMoment at #CinderellaEventLady Tremaine’s fashionable dress that Cate Blanchett wore was on display along with step-sisters’ dresses. I’m standing next to the dress that Sophie McShera wore as one of Cinderella’s step-sisters. I love Sophie’s role as Daisy on Downton Abbey and now, in Cinderella!#JCPCinderellaMoment at #CinderellaEventWe also enjoyed even more delicious food and drinks at the pre-premiere reception, compliments of JCPenny too! We were spoiled beyond belief. I’ve never felt more like royalty as I did at the #CinderellaEvent.

Be sure to check back on Friday as I give you an inside look at the Red Carpet Premiere of CINDERELLA!
