Adult coloring books are the latest craze, I can’t believe how it has taken the world by surprise. Everyone has them, they are even at local doctor’s offices along with magazines. Who would have guessed adults would be buying and using coloring books?!
It is no wonder though, coloring is a great way to relax, release stress, get creative, and release our inner child.
I received product to facilitate this post.
If you are looking for a great selection of adult coloring books, check out PAPYRUS. They carry a variety of these “therapeutic” coloring books across the nation, in Canada, and on PAPYRUS website. I’ve seen them locally at 5Below and Target.
Here are a couple pages from the above Enchanted Forest book.
As you can see, the pages are completely different, offering you numerous ways to express your creativity.
My husband is a creative guy, creating gigantic wall murals for a living. He takes time to expand his creativity online with various art programs, through sketching out his ideas, and now through coloring. It is not only a way to be creative and create but a way to relax and unwind. For me, I need a little more direction like in the Secret Garden coloring book.
The Secret Garden has coloring pages as well as pages with directions to guide your creativity.
This is my style! It allows me to think with more imagination and spurs on my creativity.
I use to love to color as a child, but as I grew up, I stopped like everyone else. It is so exciting and liberating to start coloring again. Who knew?! My kids think it is great too, although I’ve often colored with them. Now, they want to color in my coloring book, what a hoot!
PAPYRUS also is home to many other ways to let your creative juices flow including a fine selection of journals, notebooks and pens for scribbling down ideas, sketching masterpieces and documenting travel adventures!
