Finally, Ohio has snow! I can’t believe that it is February and my kids have only been able to go sled riding once in our barley covered with snow backyard. We haven’t even had to shovel our drive or use our new snowthrower! Today was the first day we could really go sledding all winter long and we took full advantage of it! Last month, I told you about the super cool Uncle Bob’s 2 Person Snow Tube. Today, my family tested it out on the large sledding hills in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park!
[slickr-flickr tag=personsnowtube]It was so much fun to sled down the hill with our kids. Until now, we’ve only had one person snow tubes. It was light floating on a big bubble going down the hill as it is such a large snow tube and sits high off the ground. All four of us enjoyed taking turns on it! We even shared it with people we met today.
If you haven’t been able to get outside yet this year, go buy yourself an Uncle Bob’s Snow Tube and go sledding with your kids. Sledding with your kids is one of those precious moments when both you and your kids are having a blast together. There is nothing better than seeing moms, dads, and kids having fun together! My family had a blast playing together today and I noticed so many moms and dads having a great time too! Plus, it is a very inexpensive activity! So, no excuses!
