Step back in time September 14 – November 9, 2013 at Stan Hywet during their Living History Days. Guests of all ages will live life like it was at the Manor House in the 1920s when the house is brought back to life with the History First Hand troup.
Gertrude Seiberling’s friend Mrs. Mansfield will be in the Music Room chatting with guests. The Seiberling’s family personal chef will be preparing a meal in the kitchen – I can’t wait to see this kitchen at work! The head housekeeper, Mary Cooper will finally tell the secrets of the huge ring of keys found at the house too.
All tours are self-guided and Living History Days are included in a Self-Guided Manor House tour.
Bring your hand-held GPS or smart phone to enjoy geo-caching as well. There are treasure boxes at Stan Hywet just waiting to be found. This is included for free with all self-guided or any tour admission.
