Do you want to diaper a baby? How about 50,000?! That is the goal of the Portage-Summit Diaper Bank’s Community Diaper Drive being held on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Head over to Walgreens stores in Aurora, Cuyahoga Falls, Kent, Macedonia; and West Market Plaza in Fairlawn to donate diapers between 10am – 2pm! There will be large Penske Trucks at each store with volunteers accepting donations.
These diapers go to families in need in Summit and Portage county. All moms know how expensive diapers are and just how many babies go through in a day. Add the struggle of being unable to financially afford the diapers and it becomes a huge problem for moms.
1out of 3 moms struggle to have enough diapers to diaper their babies. In fact, families that don’t have enough diapers end up missing work and educational programs because they cannot afford to send enough diapers to the daycare or babysitter. This prolongs the cycle of poverty.
Let’s help diaper those babies to keep them clean and healthy! Let’s help ease the burden of buying diapers for our fellow moms in Summit and Portage counties in need.
Donate Diapers at these Walgreens locations on 7-18-15 between 10am – 2pm:
Aurora: 95 W. Garfield Rd
Cuyahoga Falls: 2645 State Rd.
Fairlawn: 1711 W. Market St.
Kent: 320 S. Water St.
Macedonia: 663 E. Aurora Rd.
