I had never heard of Super Cool Art before, but as I decided which project I wanted to review I quickly became excited! Super Cool Art is an amazing company that lets you be the artist of your very own creation, and not only that, you don’t have to buy anything extra to do your project. Everything you need for the art project is included in your kit!! They provide you with the choice between drawing kits and painting kits and then you choose the theme.

When my Super Cool Art painting kit arrived it wasn’t packaged as I expected, I thought it would come in a pretty basic box, but it came in a large tube! So I wasn’t really sure of what would be inside or the size, which made opening it even more fun! I chose the Under the Sea medium painting kit. On the outside of the tube is a complete list of what is inside the package.
Super Cool Art Inspires Creativity
I loved that there were some basic instructions in my Super Cool Art kit to get me on my way creating! Because it was a painting kit, I chose not to allow my 4 and 5 year old to participate in the actual painting, but they chose every color on the painting. While there are a limited number of paints included in the kit, the color wheel that was included in the Super Cool Art kit made mixing colors easy!
My kids loved to turn the wheel to see what colors had to be mixed together to get what they wanted. I began by assembling my canvas frame and wrapping, then stapling the canvas onto the frame. Sounds hard? Not at all!
Next, we popped our stencils out! We received 3 different pages of stencils with many choices and sizes of objects we could include in our painting.
Once we chose our stencils, we used a pencil to trace around the stencil directly onto the canvas. Then the painting could begin!! 
Super Cool Art has Everything You Need
I have never been much of a painter, and actually made this project harder on myself by not painting the background first before penciling my stencils on! It still turned out great, but it made the project a little more lengthy because of my own mistake! Oops! Once I got the hang of mixing the paints it was easy.
The paint brushes that were included in the kit were great quality and came in every size you may need. Normally with less expensive brushes the bristles come loose and get stuck in your paint or on your canvas. I never once had this problem, and once painting was finished, I used the brush cleaner that had been included in my kit to clean the brushes and keep them like new for the next time I want to paint.
Once finished, my kids were so excited to hang the painting in their room, and I do have to say that it turned out great! I love that regardless of the kit you choose, because you choose which stencils and colors to use, it truly is a one of a kind creation and will be like no other.
