Fall is here and Halloween is around the corner. It is a fun time of year to get festive, have parties, and make crafts. A must for parties at Halloween is decorating and having fun with food. It is so easy to make something festive or scary – both kids and adults love it. Setting out plenty of delicious candies like Starburst candy corn and treats makes it more fun for everyone.
I received product samples to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating. I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Starburst.
I have a lot of fun with food this time of year. I’ve made plenty of creepy recipes like spider and eyeball poppers for party appetizers and scary cakes. It is a fun way to entertain during the Fall and Halloween time. I decorate quite a bit for the Fall and Halloween as well but haven’t ventured into crafting or gift-making until this season.

She created a Perfectly-Pleasing Picture Frame that would be a delightful way to showcase your favorite Halloween picture – maybe of your family in Halloween costumes! She uses a flat faced picture frame and hot glues Starburst candy corn candies to it. It is super adorable!
She has also created several items for decorating a Fall Halloween party and even party favors. I don’t plan to have a Halloween party at my house but I do plan to help at my kids’ school classroom parties. I like to bring teachers little gifts during the holidays. I loved Tori’s idea for Festive Favors. It is as simple as layering the bright colors of Starburst candy corn in a mason type jar and adding a gift tag. This is such a simple Fall Halloween craft for anyone, even moms that aren’t “crafty” by nature.

I think it is adorable. I can’t wait to bring one for each of my kids’ teachers during their Halloween Party in a couple weeks. I made mine for Fall, so it can be enjoyed past Halloween and into Thankgiving. The Starburst candy corn is festive long after Halloween.
Tori also has great Halloween treat ideas like Crispy Candy Corn Treats. It is another simple recipe that can be used as a place setting, center piece, or party favors when your guest leave your party. It is an easy – and inexpensive way to dress up your party.
For Crispy Candy Corn Treats, simply make Rice Krispy treats and cut out star shapes by hand or with a large cookie cutter. Then, place Starburst candy corn around the parameter. It is festive, easy, and delicious to eat!
I made a smaller version with a small cookie cutter just for my family to enjoy. I like how Tori has incorporated delicious items that we all enjoy into something new and unique. It is a simple craft/treat that makes people wonder why they didn’t think of it before. When you use cookie cutters with anything, it taste better. When you add candy to it, it is even better. I don’t personally like candy corn but the Starburst candy corn taste just like Starburst fruit chews – AMAZING! My kids thought the Crispy Candy Corn Treat were wonderful.
