Are you ready for Valentine’s Day? If your kids are like mine, they expect all a celebration too! I remember the first year my kids learned about Valentine’s Day in preschool. They were so excited for the day to arrive and I didn’t have anything planned. They were so disappointed. Now, I plan a special dinner with a craft, activity, or movie for the whole family to celebrate together. I’m not saying to ignore your spouse, this is not the time to put your kids over your spouse but everyone deserves a little extra love and attention on Valentine’s Day.

My son had a really bad day yesterday. Nothing went well for him. He couldn’t get the notes right in orchestra. He tripped on the steps. Every time he tested his blood sugar, he had to retest because there wasn’t enough blood. His homework was confusing. He couldn’t fall asleep last night. He could have used an evening off to watch this hilarious movie for sure!
We loved the movie when we watched it in the theater and can’t wait to own it at home. (Our movie review.)
