There is no better way to have fun with your family than speeding down a water slide. Who know that having fun sliding down a waterslide could help change a child’s life? Next Saturday, June 11, 2011, you can join Great Wolf Lodge resorts (including Sandusky, Ohio) to raise $250,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters by participating in the World’s Largest Waterslide-athon! There will be a special slide that when you go down it, Great Wolf Lodge will donate $1 to Big Brothers Big Sisters. 100% proceeds go to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
My sister in law used to be a Big Sister for many years. She can’t say enough good stuff about the experience and the organization. Each Great Wolf Lodge location will directly impact the community and children nearby through the money raised at this event. And all you have to do is Slide for a good cause!
The World’s Largest Waterslide-athon will run 11am-11pm on Saturday, June 11, 2011. Daytime events are for guest only. Guests and the general public is invited for an extended waterpark hours of 9pm – midnight for “Waterpark in the Dark.” There will be a nominal fee as a donation to contribute towards our fundraising efforts. All proceeds from Waterpark in the Dark will help Great Wolf Lodge reach that $250,000 donation goal to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Can’t make it to the Waterslide-athon? Join Great Wolf Lodge for the virtual waterslide-athon on the Great Wolf Lodge Facebook page. Each time you “slide” down the slide, there will be a donation made to Big Brothers Big Sisters. The virtual waterslide-athon will be live June 6 through June 11.
