This is truly the first author my daughter enjoys to read. She has struggled for the past 2 years with reading and has really been discouraged. Her reward to finishing a book is to add to her collection another Fancy Nancy. When I mentioned that Fancy Nancy was coming to the theater – you can only imagine her excitement! These tickets would really boost her confidence in the single most important subject – Reading! Thanks for the time you put into making these promotions available.

  2. Alli Corley says:

I would love to take my sister, who is 8 to see Fancy Nancy! Fancy Nancy was one of the first characters who she fell in love with and loved to read! Fancy Nancy inspired her to read and began to grow her love for books! It would be a great way to solidify that in her mind!

I would love to take my 5yr. old to see Fancy Nancy! she loves ballets (Nutcracker being her Favorite) And takes ballet lessons, it is truly her love ever since she was two. I am a Mother with M.S. so getting out to do things with her is sometimes very difficult in the winter, this is indoors and perfect.Thank you for all the wonderful things you provide for Moms!!!!!

  4. Sarah Hahn says:

I would LOVE to take my girls to see Fancy Nancy. My three year old twins and two year old daughter absolutely adore (that’s even fancier than ‘like’) Fancy Nancy. We regularly check those books out of the library, and they have memorized nearly every word of the original book. It’s so great to hear words like “Oooh la la!” and “gorgeous” come out in their everyday conversations. Not all of my girls are quite as posh as Nancy, but even my tomboys love to be read the Fancy Nancy books. We would put complimentary tickets to very good use!

    Thank you,

    Sarah

I would bring my daughter Alexis. Alexis is turning nine on March 15. This would be a great birthday present for her as well as an opportunity to meet/see a character she has read about. Alexis has read every book about Fancy Nancy. She started having a little trouble with reading until I introduced her to “Nancy.” She was able to go along with the stories and eager to read more because of the humor. We would sit and talk about the book. I think that Alexis was able to attribute some of things to herself and her daily life of what to do and what not do that she just kept asking for more. This would be a great treat for a young girl to see “her friend.”

As a mom, I love that the series teaches vocabulary to little ones in a fun and exciting way. I like reading the books right along with her. I know she would appreciate the chance to see one of her favorite literary characters in real-life! It would be a fun event for her and my husband and me to attend together.

I would take our 8 year old to Fancy Nancy! She is a Fancy-a-holic! She owns all the Fancy Nancy books, and decorates our living room in Fancy Nancy attire…boas, tiaras, etc. It’s funny to me because she would never dress like Fancy Nancy but has no problem decorating my living room in Fancy Nancy style!

My Fancy Nancy, aka my daughter Ava, would love to see her first live performance. Her birthday is next week (she will be 4) so this would be a great surprise since she has just recently become interested in ballet. We just bought her a tutu at a second hand shop and every night she puts on a “show” for us in the living room. She has quite the imagination and as smart as she is she would practice all the moves she would learn at the show. She has not had any dance lessons but is asking for those. She is a special little girl who is very loving to her little brother and is incredibly caring and smart. My husband and I always say she will definitely excel in the arts. I would also bring her friend Natalie, also turning 4 on March 2nd and her mommy, my very good friend Sarah.

  15. Paula Mollica says:

My daughter will be driving to Akron for Spring Break from Bloomington IN. She has two little girls, ages 10 and 7. She is definitely a Fancy Nancy Fan and would be thrilled to see this performance.

My daughter would love, love, LOVE to attend this event! Since discovering Fancy Nancy about a year ago, we have continuously had to reserve Fancy Nancy books from the library. She dresses like Nancy (and often did. She got books about Nancy for Christmas. For her birthday party this coming Friday, we will be having a Fancy Nancy tea party with her friends. She is so excited about it and would love to see this ballet. She is also in her third year of ballet classes and has never seen a live ballet because we thought she wasn’t old enough to sit still. Now that she is turning 6 (unbelievable to me), I think she would love to see a fun, entertaining ballet, especially with her favorite Fancy Nancy there too!

  38. Cara says:
