We have all heard about the importance of eating breakfast. It goes for adults and kids. With kids back in school, it is very important for kids to start their day right with breakfast before heading off to the bus stop.

General Mills Cereal Review
You don’t need me to tell you how delicious General Mills Cereals are. Just ask your kids! Alas, I’ll tell you why we like the above specially marked cereals.
General Mills Cheerios
There is a Cheerios flavor for everyone. We always keep Cheerios around for a healthy breakfast choice. They do a great job at advertising to let consumers know that a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of heart disease. Cheerios also has 3 grams of soluble fiber a day from whole grain oat.
I also like the MultiGrain Cheerios. It is lightly sweetened, made with 5 whole grains. I’ve never tried Chocolate Cheerios until I had the chance to review this cereal. My sister said she liked it a long time ago. YUM! It is really good, made with real cocoa. It is not too sweet but I like to mix it with Cheerios, as I often do with sweeter cereals.

Genearl Mills Cereal as Snacks
As a snack, I’ve always gone for a bowl of cereal. Usually it is a better option than other sweet items I could reach for. I do like the Chocolate Cheerios for this as well, however General Mills Cookie Crisp and Golden Grahams have always been a cereal that I choose to use as a snack, both dry and with milk. Cookie Crisp offers the yummy taste of chocolate chip cookies and milk in lightly crunchy cereal. Golden Grahams offers another sweet, delicious option. Of course, both cereals are great for breakfast too!

General Mills Total
General Mills Total is one of the cereals that I can always remember having at home as a teenager and now as an adult in my own home. Total offers excellent nutrition with 12 vitamins and minerals you need every day. I like the crunchy whole grain wheat flakes with fresh fruit like strawberries, bananas, or blueberries in the morning. I always have to make sure I have fresh fruit for cereals with pictures of fruit in the cereal because my daughter always chooses that cereal FOR the fruit!

So, to recap. Breakfast is important for moms, dads, and kids everyday. General Mills is a great option to start the day off right. When you buy participating General Mills cereal, you get up to $5 in coupons on the inside of each box. Plus, they offer Box Tops for Education for your schools. Finally, General Mills cereal is delicious.
